已购买公有住房的职工是否可以选择退房？

依据《在京中央和国家机关职工住房面积核定及未达标、超标处理办法》（国管房管字〔2000〕36号），职工已按房改成本价或标准价购买现住房且未达标的，不再办理退房手续，差额面积可由所在单位一次性计发差额补贴。职工可通过已购公有住房上市交易改善住房条件。
